The Tea House

The Tea House is a cultural Association: and so intends to promote the culture of tea, through courses of tasting and presentation of the most important teas in the world (China, Japan, India, Ceylon, etc..). Stories, curiosities, legends: medicine and poems on tea.

But are many the cultural interests that have a space in the Tea House.
Poetry, painting, dance, music, theatre...  we are a forge—laboratory for these arts (see the Merlin archive). Philosophy and esotericism: a decor from the Arab and Oriental world, create a space free from borders, open as a crossroads at the meeting of different flows, open to exchange, a bit like ancient Greece may have been... we therefore recently focused in particular on Plato, not only staging some dialogues, and preparing others to come (!), but with the imagination and the desire to launch, sooner or later, meetings like the Platonic Academy… Our passion for archetypes also drives us to take care of tarots as well as of palm reading...

What we do

Poet's Monday

One Monday evening per month we meet up: there is who brings their own poems, who those of famous authors. It's not about bureaucratic readings, but about creating a vibration that envelops the whole evening. Even better when the poems are accompanied by live music.

Dance & Music

From the Tea House dancers from all over the world pass by, who perform  in various types of dance, belly, ritual, jazz, classical, eurythmic (Steinerian). Often accompanied by live music, like the very recent sessions of Taranta, Pizzica, and popular dances…  And monthly, Jam Sessions! Keep an eye out for our events

Theater

All genres are explored. Classical, avant-garde, absurd theatre.. From Buzzati to Woody Allen, from Ionescu to Pirandello, from Sophocles to Plato... We recently proposed a series, still to be continued, on Plato (SymposiumPhaedrus..), and the story of the poetess Saffo.

Tes house magic
